History of the company

BUCHBERGER PROFILSYSTEME has stood for quality and innovative solutions in the field of joint profiles and drain channels for over 35 years. However, the beginnings of this skilled and still practiced craft date back more than 70 years.

12.12.1946

Foundation of the former Karl Buchberger metalworking business.

1947-1985

Karl Buchberger and his sons Fritz and Peter completed any kind of job they were given. They learned skills for different purposes and how to solve problems individually.

30.01.1985

Buchberger GmbH is founded with the managing directors Fritz and Peter Buchberger. At that time it was still an agricultural machinery dealership with repair, mechanical engineering and metalworking.

1990

From 1990, the company focused on the production and sale of joint profiles for Germany and, fairly quickly, also for Austria and Italy.

1997

Start of the production and sale of drain channels and the resulting construction of the "Römerhalle", where the drain channels are manufactured today.

13.05.2004

Fritz Buchberger hands over his position as Managing Director to his son Thomas Buchberger. At the same time, the production hall for joint profiles is expanded and modernized with new machines.

2008-2017

Expansion of the company facilities with the construction of warehouses, a social building and the acquisition of state-of-the-art machinery to increase vertical integration.

05.01.2017

Peter Buchberger hands over his position as Managing Director to his daughter Petra Gangauf and her husband Klaus Gangauf.

Nowadays

Thanks to its many years of experience, BUCHBERGER PROFILSYSTEME today stands for quality, reliability and innovation.
